Creative Blog Tour

Sorry for the delay: this post was supposed to be live yesterday, but… life happens!

Before we get started I would like to thank Brenda Ragsdale for inviting me to be a part of this tour, I hope that I will inspire someone and that you like knowing me as scrapper a litlle better: today I am sharing a little bit about myself and my passion, scrapbooking, as well as introducing you to two very talented friends I met online through scrapbooking. Make sure to read through the end to see the other creative bloggers I tagged!

What am I working on?

I am working on design team assignments (currently I design for Paper House and Sketches4All) using those to complete a few albums (but in reality I have tons of layout laying everywhere, I ask to myself if I will complete one of these someday!)

What is my signature style?

To be honest, I am still figuring that part out after so many years. Haha.

I am not stuck in one genre. I'm all over the place with different styles of scrapbooking.  I can create a mixed media layout today and tomorrow something simple and clean.

I mainly scrap what and how I want and every layout seems to be very different from the others. I have not a peculiar style, I go with inspiration of the moment trying to compliment the photos I am working with.

Why do I create what I do?

Every photo has a story to tell and I have made it my mission to be the family historian. Scrapping allows me to show and tell about the daily lives of myself and other family members.

And I really love playing with all those pretty stuff, since I was a child I was a “creative girl”: I love to paint, to write, to make jewels… I really can’t live without art in every form!

How does your writing/creating process work?

I usually start with a challenge and a sketch.  From there, I will pick my photos that work well with the challenge and then match up the paper.  From here on, it is on the flow of the moment!

What are my favorite things to create with at the moment?

Patterned paper, stickers, doilies, sequins.

How long does it take me to create a project?

Usually I made a layout in about an hour, because when I’m inspired I can’t stop creating and I’m pretty fast.

Below are a few of my favorite recent projects:

I have decided to tag these 2 wonderfully creative ladies: I chose two Italian girls, because here we have very inspiring and talented scrappers and I want Italian to be more known on the blogsphere! I hope you enjoy meeting them.

They will be sharing more about themselves next Monday, August 25th on their blogs, make sure to stop by.
